Meet our tour assistant at Sorrento Circumvesuviana train station 08:45 am. Departs from Sorrento about 09:00 am by train and drop-off at Pompeii Scavi Villa dei Misteri.
The tour leader will welcome you at the entrance of the excavations and explain how the AR glasses work.
From there, your journey through time will begin: you will be introduced to the history of Pompeii and the dramatic eruption of 79 AD, immersing yourself in the streets, squares, and buildings of the ancient Roman city.
With our augmented reality glasses, you can walk through the 440,000 m² of the archaeological site as if you were a real ancient Roman: you will visit the theaters, temples, patrician domus, the bakery, and other public and private spaces; all reconstructed with extraordinary historical accuracy.
After the tour, you can still stay in the archaeological park and visit it independently.

Please note that the tour assistant from Sorrento will escort you up to Pompeii entrance site. At the end of the visit you can choose to visit freely Pompeii or return to Sorrento by train or your own. You have to show id documents in order to get child discounts. We suggest arriving at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The visit is scheduled regardless of weather conditions, so it is advisable to dress appropriately and comfortably. The Tour Assistant will accompany the group for the entire duration of the experience (2 hours), and then return to the starting point where the AR Glasses and accessories will be returned.
